Anyone know if a TV antenna will work for a cell phone?
I don't want to pay 150 smackers for one if I don't have to!

How would you hook it up? I would think not, antennas are built with specified tolerances or resistance for specific applications as well as wire lengths, i.e VHF antennas do not work with FM/AM radios, nor can you cut the wire to have less of a bundle in your boat. This affect the signal distance, performance and may cause the VHF to blow fuses.
