I just bought a 02 viper and the owner said the only way to get it to rail corners was to leave the stiff, original front shocks on but switched to the softer rear shock, but it does buck pretty stiff in the front end as it has tons of spring dialed up but needs the spring to corner, even with an increase in limiter strap pulled ski pressure. Is this the setup or is there another way to get good bump ride quality and still rail corners? 170# rider, 25 years experience, long days on western u.p. trails at great pace.

The best thing to do is change out the skis.I changed mine right from the start and could hold a line in a corner way hotter then a stock viper. You can adjust with the limiter but then you lose rear traction and makes the front feel heavy.Let me know if you have any questions. For $250 you can solve the problem.rich
