I have a friend looking at a 95 xlt sp. He didn't tell me what size it is (I'm guessing a 600 tripple). I have no idea what the milage is on it. What kind of sled is this, any info I could pass on to him would be great. Thanks in advance.

I had one.Put 5,000 trouble free miles on it.Great sled. :)

They are very nice sleds, though I think the 95 SP had the Xtra-12, which I'm not so hot for. Makes for a very nice cruising sled, but not the best handleing.
Not overly powerful, but enough to provide a rush. Pretty good reliability, and simple as a stone to work on. And there are countless XLT's out there, so finding parts and accessories is always easy.
Depending on the price, a very good choice.

I had one I put over 12000 miles on it and never did enything to it it was a great sled

Ive seen several that had trouble with tie-rod ends breaking. That was the first year for their extra 12 and it was much improved in the years following.
