the clutch bolt on my zr is in there good now.I changed the pri. spring put the bolt back in,but it does't wont to come out now.It is a 12 point 14mil. socket true or false? :sly:

If it is like the earlier AC clutches like on my '97 powder extreme it is a 12 point 1/2" socket that works best for me. A 14 mm is too big if it is the same bolt on both our sleds (which I think it is). It might work but will probably round off the sharp points on your bolt. You have to line up the points carefully as there is not much "slop" in the socket to get it right on the bolt. You might try a 13mm 12 point as that is very close to a 1/2 if I remember correctly.

thanks TonyB for the reply i tried bothe imperial and metric sockets, the problem being ihave no 12 point i guess. My impact sockets mite be 12 though, iwill go try them!!!!!! :D
