My new REV 800HO Adrenaline is at the dealer,I've never driven one to see how they handle but would like some advise form you experienced riders.

I am not your tipical drag racer type of rider ,but will probably come across a few skeptical racers that may need tuned in.I am looking for a more safety on ice and better bracking performance from these studs.

With the type of power that this machine is expected to produce,I was told if I put in 96 that could cause damage to the track and should look at up to 192.I do not like studs on the outer perimiter where the wheels run because of vibrations, and 192 could slow down top end speed where I like to run.

Is there a pattern that would be suitable for the best of both worlds,I can't wait to try this great looking machine.
My old sled was a 2001 MXZ 700 with 96 studs.

You should check Woody's web sight for some recommendations on studding the Rev. They have a special studding pattern that you have to use so that the heat exchangers and tunnel are not damaged.

Use the 144 pattern and yes you can stud down the middle or on the outside too if you wish.

Does the 04 Revs have the same heat exchanger that the 03's did? I was hoping they would change back to the old style.

Check with Woody's, but I would also check with your dealer and see what he recommends.

Woody's recommends 144 up the middle for this sled. I would just try 96 personally. They always say it will be a problem, but up the middle doesn't seem to get as much stress as the studs on the sides.
