I am selling my wifes 2002 MXZ 600 X two tone, r.e.r., j hooks, Acerbis handguards, headlight covers, yellow Ski Doo windshield w/X sticker, black full body X skid plate, black clutch door, yellow grills in lower black portion of hood, 1 1/4 lug studded track, yellow flap, heated visor plug in, 4 wheel rear idler wheel set, yellow rear cowl vents, red recoil handle, 1400 miles. Excellent condition. Comes with cover (Ski Doo cover that goes from ski tip to trunk), I could throw in her riding gear also which is all Ski Doo and a heated shield HJC helmet which is like new.

Im just trying to figure out how much to sell it for? Can you guys offer your opinions?

I know the price of the new leftovers and etc are gonna hurt me but how bad?

Thanks

Start with Nada.com (yes they have sleds there). It will give you a "starting point". We have "Uncle Henry's" here in Maine which is a place to list your stuff for sale... it is very popular so you have lot's of items to look over. Go into a similiar magazine and see what other people are asking. With some detective work you can start to get an idea of what you might get. It may also depend on what part of the country you are in. I suspect you'll get less if your in the midwest with all the leftover sleds still at dealers....out East the snow was good last year so less leftovers. Good luck.

I would say around $5000. I know they are selling 03 REV 600's for $5200 in Central MN. That is not the X package. I don't know it that helps. We had no snow last year, so there are lots of 03's around here...

I'm thinking that 5K may be high. I don't think I could get that much for my MXZ800X two-tone. The gear may make a difference, but only if it fits the person buying. The extras don't make that much difference. They may make or break the deal, but not add much monetary value. You may be better off if you are looking to get the most money you can by taking all the aftermarket jazz off and selling them along with the clothing separately. JMHO.

Steve, you may be better off to put it in the Cycletrader (248 476-7355). May take a bit longer to sell, but you get closer to your asking price. Good luck.

Here in new england you would be lucky to get $5000 for it, unless you can finance it. Used sleds dont move because it is so easy to get credit for a new one and only a limited amount of people have $5000 in cash laying around.

A friend just told me today that he bought a brand new (in the box still) 2002 MXZ 600 (I think its a trail) for $6900 CAD.
