Hi:

I have a 91 EXT 530 and it runs fine except all the lights (headlight, tailight) are out. Checked the bulbs and they are fine. I replaced the coil and the lights are still out. Is this a problem with the stator? I also heard their is a lighting coil on these machines. Is this true? If so how much for the coil.

Any suggestions would be great.

My 92 EXT needed a voltage regulator. It blew all my lights except the dash when it went. I'm told that's normal. If your stator was done it wouldn't run very good. Are you sure your bulbs are not blown??

It sounds to me like the lighting coil is bad on your machine. This part is located on the stator behind the flywheel, part number 3003-013 and about 50 bucks.
