Just watched Thunderstruck 2, got it from Chip at snowcross.net. Overall a very good flick. The soundtrack was a little harder than I like, but maybe I'm starting to show my age here. The riding was awesome, mostly hillclimbing and lots and lots of powder. The only freestyle I noticed was what they did while in the mountains jumping so that's a plus to me. I liked the occasional narration and feel it added to the overall cinematic experience :p

The only thing keeping this movie in the "very good" category as opposed to "great" is the over-use of special effects, mainly going to a washed out B&W. The worst part for me is that it happened a lot during the awesome powder riding and made it difficult to see the details. A little of this goes a long way and I felt it was overused and the titles were a little too disco. It's kinda like watching a pop movie made in the late 60's with the swirling psychadelic colors in the background, seems cool at the time but won't hold up well.

Overall a good movie for riders. Lots of great powder, unbelieveable highmarking and plenty of nutty jumps and even some great water riding. It really makes me long for winter even more than I already do.

That sounds like a good vid too i might have to order it, how are the braap videos compaired to slednecks or 2SCM, is it decent because i was going to get that one as well.

I've never bought the Braaap or 2SCS so I can't compare them. But TS2 was very good, I highly recommend it. Maybe some others will chime in and we can get a whole video review thread going.

As far as Braaap prepare for some ramps. Thunderstruck was okay but a little long and boring in allot of places. I still like Alticity as the best this year. And probably ever, except for Slednecks 4. Alticity just has more POW and real stuff that I ride in or wish I did

i was hopeing to get my alticity 3 video yesturday.....i thought for sure it would be in, but maybe today. usually it takes 7 business days and as of today it will be 8. so if i get it, i'll let yas all know what i think of it. i hear from most that its the best video of the year. :D

I agree that A3 is awesome. I easily put it in the same league as SN4. Dawg, you'll love it. Whereas I rated TS2 "very good" A3 scores a solid "great" 4 stars, two thumbs way up, you get the idea.
