I got a set of boysen reeds for my Wildcat EFI, do I have to worry about any mixture problems with the change? Tom

No problems just talked to black magic for reeds on an efi f-7 , they said no problem just dont use and reed spacers.

If you look at the rubber part of the block holding the reed it blocks off 1/4 of the four outside reed spaces. Should you cut this area out to get more flow, or should i say can you cut it out.Just wondering i have a set of boysen reeds. too :sly:

If it is just the reeds that you are going to be using then you should be ok. The only thing you might notice is that the sled might run a touch richer. I called boyesen last week and asked about reeds for my 02 ZR 600 EFI, they said it might run a bit richer but I can mod the air box slightly to compensate. The gains are in the mid to upper RPM range.
