it has around 500 miles. my friend's dad owns a snowmobile shop and he is going through the engine to make sure its all good. he said i can have it for $900. it needs a track, he can get me one for $100, a windshield (i can take the windshield off my dad's old sled) and a front bumper/grab bar (can take that off my dad's old sled also)
i think i'd be a dumbass if i didn't take it.
what do you think?

Ya for that price I'll write a cheque right now....great deal if thats the price...
just a few things to think about though
500 miles and the tracks shot???
needs a windshield = been rolled maybe?
front bumper means it's ran into something...??
but if it's a 500 mile sled for 900 bucks, grab it up fast...

correct.... 500 miles and the track is shot... due to the guy that owned it previously driving it down the highway with no snow for a couple miles.
windshield is gone because the previous owner took it off before my friend's dad got the sled.
front bumper is fudged because the previous owner's wife backed into it with her car.
so i guess i'm a dumbass for even starting this thread huh?

Hey dumbass! go buy that sled :p
Thats a good deal, as long as the engine checks out okay then its a great deal.
I had a 98...basically the same sled with minor differences in 99 which consisted of a gear change, a timing change and some color changes.
If it dosent have the AD Boivin rear springs, get them. They can be identifyed by there yellow color and 1" thick preload spacer. Stock coils are a stacked 2 spring POS that dosent work for anybody bigger than a breadbox :p They are black springs.
that 670 has plenty of muscle on its own. But that said a decent clutch kit will make it a beast. I had a Goodwin kit and loved it.
Good luck
