Yes it is a GP433 *with the gas tank in the rear. It has a red seat with black sides *and only 1250 miles. It is way too fast for what it is. i'll post some pics later. Some guy on jack lake gave it too me for free. It came with a mint sled buggy trailer too. http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

*nice guy to give you a free sled ! have you rode it ? does it have the twin carbs with the rubber velocity stacks on it ? those sleds did fly for sure.
*don't let the TOYDOC know it is a sled missing in his line up and he will be on it like a pack of dogs. delete your post immediately. LOL

My parents have a 73 GP 338, which is identical to your 433.Their 338 is pretty fast for a vintage sled(65-70mph). Of course thats wide open down the middle of the road. Any way I can only imagine how fast the 433 is. *I heard some were that the 433 is basicaly a 338 with a bigger engine. My only complant about the sled is the harsh ride and a ALL STEEL chassie *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif *I bet that sled would fly with a aluminum one.
I wouldn't advisejumping it ,launched my parents almost 5ft w/ 2 people on it and manage to jam both our backs ;break off the muffler;crack the gas tank and broke off the injector pump and I broke the windshield as my head hit it.But it is a

flyntriple,
*i had a 73 gp 338 the motor is different from the 433. the 73 models i thought looked less,,, i don't know they changed to a square headlight from the round that the 72's had. the 72 model had the silver tunnel, red & black seat, white hood and the red arrow on the hood. the 73's were all white, black seat and red arrow on the hood not quite as distinct.

I can't remember what year, its a 72 or 73, I get the years mixed up between the old yami and the old panther (72 or 73?) It's all white with a SQUARE headlight and a red stripe down the side. The engine was rebuilt like 12 or 13 years ago , than it got parked for 10 years, I also has a new track w/ 100-200miles on it. It's only a single carb, but it seems to aways be out of wack. You will set it and it a run fine for a while then it a start to miss and the plugs get really wet. But other than that it's a good sled when it runs *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

flyntriple,
*i am quite sure your gp338 is a 73 or newer because the 338s were sl 338s in 72 only.

I think your right ,Now if I could remember the year of the panther? All I know is it has a 303 Wankle in it and it sounds like a old BI-plane at full throttle.
