I own a 02 700 xcsp with 1 inch lugs and I was wondering what is the correct size studs I should buy. I've heard that the correct length of a stud is one that sticks up 1/4" to 3/8" above the track lug. Is this correct or am I hearing incorrect information? I plan on buying woodys studs. Could someone tell me what size I should buy.

1.175's if your using Woody's. You can check out the woody's site for a "safe" recommondation.

I have a 2001 700 XC w/ a .91 lug and I went w/ the 1.075 Woody Golddiggers. The longer the stud the better it grabs.

I used 1.075" Gold Diggers on my 1" track.

IMO do not go above the lug more than 1/4" for the studs or you may have a problem with them bending or even ripping through. SWRules

10.75s is what woodys recommends on a 1 inch track.
