What adjustments can I make to get the idle down to normal? *It runs a 3700-4000 RMP at current idle!

: High rpm on idle on 98 zr500 carb SteveCZ 03-01-2002, 10:52 PM There is an adjustment screw on the left side of the carb towards the middle. *The bigger screw, but.... and this is where I get confused.... so if I'm wrong, feel free to help me out guys.... Clockwise = higher idle counterclockwise = lower idle But make sure that you do them equally, and only at a 1/4 turn at a time and test.
