alscool 10-03-2003, 12:44 PM What doo the different head colors represent? I have a 95 670 - head was purple Just got a 96 670 - head was red any rhyme ir reason here? TT670 10-03-2003, 03:08 PM Ive never seen a red head on any 96 670, as far as I know all of the 670's were purple and the 583's were red, 500's were yellow. As far as I know if it is a 670 with a red head its of no significance. I would check the plate on the motor, maybe someone screwed ya and you got a 583 instead, they look almost identical.
