I have a few questions. I'd like to take the seat off my 87 Phazer. Is it just the two screws near the front, on both sides. And if so, how do I get them off, there rusted to all hell!! Also, by the recoil handle there is oil and gas fuel lines going through a bit of plastic that are susposed to indicate the oil and gas level. Do these really work? I wanted to replace the lines to make them new and clear, but I want to make sure that these really work! Also. Does anyone have a picture of under there hood, I have to put my engine back in soon, and I think I may have forgot where some of the lines, and other goodes go back in. It's been over a year since I took it out...

The seat--there's two bolts in the back too, going straight down. Look up under our snow flap and you'll see them. I have pretty good details and pics about my Phazer rebuild on my Yamamutt project website. The link is in my signature.
Those gas and oil lines work fine, but the gas one is horribly inaccurate. You'll get used to it. Just pull them off, clean them up, clean up the white background paper behind them, and make sure the little lightbulbs for them work, for illumination.
