Looks like the sled thiefs are starting early this year. I will keep my eyes peeled as they just found a stolen ATV from quebec near my house. One never knows. I feel for the guy as those were more than just sleds they were Cultural history.

Drummondville?????
There have been a number of thefts that have happened EXACTLY the same way at hotels in Drummondville (out of province truck, trailer and contents) in the past. I can't remember exactly, but I THINK the Comfort Inn was where these other incidents occured.
Makes you think some funny business might be going on there doesn't it????

I know how that feels. This summer someone helped themselves to the wheels and tires on a truck I had for sale. :cussing: Why they aren't worth near as much it is still a giant PITA trying to get everything straightened around and they money won't ever bring those sleds back. Maybe they will get luck and find at least something. I found my wheels and tires a couple of weeks later on my neighbors truck. He is supposed to go to trail tommaorw hopefull he gets more than a slap on the wrist. :hallo6:

Looks like they're starting early this year. From what I can recall, last season was atrocious in Quebec for people having their rigs stolen outside of hotels. Will only be a matter of time before people stop going. The fact that the contents of this particular rig all nearly irreplaceable makes the situation that much more disturbing. I don't know if this is a policing issue or what, but if the area wants to maintain its huge influx of tourist dollars they had better smarten up and soon.

Here's to a safe return for these important pieces of snowmobiling history.
