According to Phil Mickelson's Illustrated Ski-doo Snowmobile Buyer's Guide, the X models had front frame sections made of thin gauge 4130 chrome-moly steel & had a ski stance of 39.8" The skidframe was unchanged. They got caught in '92 building 375 Xs when they claimed 500.
