Hey gang!

Guess what? Spoke to my dealership today and they said they got confirmation, that the SDI's will be starting to be shipped, the middle of next week. They have 3 shipments coming, one each week for the next 3 weeks. Doesn't know exactly which models and who's they are but it is a good sign.

Cheers! RaveOn!

My buddy works for a Ski Dealership, and he said that his Rev x 600 SDI came in on Friday! So that means that we should all be getting ours somewhat soon.
My buddy was reallyyyyyyyy reallly mad when he found out that he got denied for the Loan for the sled and now has to pass on the Sled! All because his wife lost her job! :p

This is good news. They will all be here by the second week of November as I said in an earlier post. I am sure they will be WELL worth the wait. Just to compare SDI fuel usage against carbed/DPM units. Last year at the dealership to fill these sleds after a run was $10.30 approx for the 800 SDI GT and for the mxz 800 it was in the 18.00 range. that is a savings of 8 bucks a fill up. I was very impressed, wont take long for the savings to add up.

My friend here in Newfoundland has got one ordered and he will be happy to know his is on the way.

Spoke to dealer again today. Looks like the grand touring models are the first to be shipped. No MXZ's for another couple weeks. Sounds like the MXZ's will be the last to be shipped.

Hey RaveOn

Your recent post seems to contradict what someone else posted above that they received their MXZ? something isn't adding up!

I'm still going with what I heard from Bombardier, MXZ's will be 2nd week of Nov.

Tiggy

As far as my dealer goes he has Grand Touring's being shipped this week Tuesday. As far as MXz's he said there is none dated to be shipped (to him at least) for another couple of weeks. Last week when I spoke to him he wasn't sure what was coming when. He was however given more info since then. As far as my message contradicting an earlier post. First off it seems funny how someone's buddy's sled has came in but not going to buy it and that the rest of the SDI's should be in soon? Only one report of an MXZ SDI being in at dealers...hhmm Some dealers will get them sooner depending on their geographic location. I totally agree with the mid of November for the MXz's as I said in my last post.

I just can't wait to get mine. They could call me in the middle of the night and I'd be over in a flash to get it. I was so disappointed that they really didn't have any X models on display at either show. I saw two X models in the MXZ Rev chasis but couldn't sit on them because they were sold already. That's funny, thought is was a show? If it is purely a "sale" then why the hell are we paying to get in? Anyway, one thing is for sure, I am so glad I got the X model, worth the wait for sure....you can bet whenever any of ride into a gathering of sledders, our machines will be the hot topic!

wooo, can't wait!

ps, RaveON, what studs are you going to put on yours? or have you thought about it?

I was talking to the Studboy people and Woodys people. I would like to go with stainless only because I hate the rust. I'm thinking for my 136"/1.25" Renegade track I'll go with two per spacing down the center (108). Don't think I want to risk ripping the track on the outside. I'm generally carefull enough how I ride so that I don't put too much stress on the track.

I am installing Woody's Golddigger 60 degree carbide 1.175 long. 144 of them. 96 in the middle and 48 on the outside. I've been using this pattern and stud since 1994 and it works great. I beleive in 144 studs with 110hp or more. As far as stud boys, my friend bought 96 them at the show despite my advice for his XC500edge X. The stainless studs were $0.30 more than regular. I'm not impressed with stainless as first off, why would you want stainless in any case. Stainles is a harder material that mild steel and more brittle. Besides one ride at the start of the season rids all the rust that may have accumalted which is nothing to be concerned about. The studboy rep at the show also agreed with me and said they are not worth the $$$.

P.S. Do you remember the plastic washer craze? How many do you see on sleds now?

Cheers! RaveOn!

Anyone hear anything about the GSX's? I'm waiting on a GXS 600SDI Limited.

Deadman, you ride in Door County? I've got a place in Sturgeon Bay and get up there when's there's snow, which hasn't been to often lately! The trails north of the bridge are pretty decent.

I agree with the 144 pics for 110HP plus, so that's what I'm doing.

The dealer where I sno-checked my SDI X from had 2 800 X's in there showroom
last week. That was the first time I have seen a 2004 X before. They had one black
and one yellow one. I ordered black but after looking at the yellow one next to it
I kindda like the looks of the yellow better. I might sound like a old fart but that
windshield has to go, can you say COLD! I am going to order a Summit windshield
latter this week I think. Anyone know if there is a tall windshield that I can get but
keep the hand guards?

I actually live like 50 miles North of Green bay. So I usually ride around home, or end up in Houghton, MI area!

We surely haven't had enough snow lately to warrant riding anywhere other than on the River or in the Ditches!

As far as my buddy getting his MXZX 600 SDI..........All I can say is what he tolds me. He works for a Dealership in Shawano WI and he said that he took it out of the crate and put it together last week Friday! So either he is a liar, or he really did put it together! (I don't know) :hallo9:

My dealer (Central Outboard) called me tonight (Oct 27). He has received faxed confirmation from Ski-Doo that SDI's are on their way. He is receiving 3 this Wednesday, 2 next Wednesday. He won't know until they come in the door if mine is this week or next. I am stoked now! (mine is an 04 Renegade 600HO SDI).

things are changin daily!

Hey Nimrod, I ordered a Blue and Yellow Renegade X, 600HO SDI, no electric start. Not sure if your's is the same or not. As far as delivery goes, the machine will come in with the VIN# assigned to the dealers order with the customers name attached. That will dictate who gets what and so on.

I wish I would have had it before the show. Would have given me a better chance to get acquainted with it to accessorize it. At this point, I am getting the bag that goes behind the tank. I can put my tools and maps and trail snax in there. Also will get studs after I put some k's on the new track.

Tiggyboot mine is blue and yellow also but I opted for electric start. My only concern is height of windsheild. Many are going to the summit one. Like you I cannot wait. :)
