What would be the point of removing the sway bar on my 01' mxz600> I guess i dont get the craze. Can someone please explin this to me > I also am getting new suspension. But i am on a budget. I abuse shox. Can the 8400 series Ryde FX take large jumps and hard abuse, and if so how well do they perform. What other kind of suspension could i put on my sled>

The swaybar deal, the bar allows one side to borrow spring from the other. like snocross, when you hit a big bump with one ski, the swaybar tosses the sled. Trail or crosscountry, no swaybar would allow the sled to lean way over in corners. SX runs stiffer spring than X-country or trail, cornering on trails with swaybar lets you run softer springs(initial rate). It comes down to-SX-no bar, X-C bar. Of course this is rider preference. Shocks, does your sled have rebuildables? A good place to start is the SX valving and springs for your year then fine tune. :withstupid:

Yea thatnks for clearin up the sway bar thing. Umm my shocks are those hpg, but i dont really like them. I was thinkin about changin the whole skid to an ad boivin expert x. I'm not really sure. I think it's around 1200 dollars. Just i needa find some different front suspension.

Front End, BLT from FAST It widens and increases travel, while using Works shocks. It's about 700.00 but worth it.

What kind of riding are you planning (with the expert suspension)? Ditch bangin, Cruising, Sky High Launching?

im lookin at puttin it under a 00-01 MXZ 600 or a 99-00 gen II 700 custom im building. It will mainly be used for jumps, extremely agressive trail, and it will be run on snow-x tracks. I will order it with the sno-x option for the shocks and the people at AD Boivin said it will be good, but i want opinions from riders, not a salesperson.
