I just finished my sled and installed EGT Guages. While Idling the temps differ 20 deg. Is that normal??? I just rejetted the carbs so I know its not them. Am I just being to anal??? :hallo3:

Personally I think 20 degrees is okay. With manufacturing tolerances in everything, that is actually pretty good. Another thing you might do is if possible swap the probes from cylinder to cylinder and see if the one probe is just reading high normally.

Thats good enough. Mine last year was around 50* different and could not get it any closer with staggering jets. This year it is alot closer :hallo4:

Close enough. 100 degrees, then try something like staggered jetting. This is the problem with digital gauges. A simple red light when the temp is too high...like 100 degrees before nuclear meltdown would be the best. of course, ceramic coating the domes is as good as a Trojan for pistons.
