a gent on here has 1 but there site says they are different .. i would assume it wouldnt breathe correctly ? but hey im new.. any ideas ?

I presume you mean can not actual pipes. As far as the can it is different as far as backpressure is concerned.

Same pipes and muffler but both are not the best pipes ever built. If possible get a set off a 99-03 it will have a little more power.

Actually the 98 pipes made real good power IF you have the sled dialed in. The clutching was difficult to dial in but once there the pipes worked great.

sorry guys.. im thinking i was in my bike world.. pipe meaning silencer.. i want to leave the sled stock so i dont have jetting issues.. the silencer is in the budget for just a bit of noise.. and a couple hp extra.. but the MBRP site says there different.. so i guess im out.. where do u guys shop online for your sled parts.. all my local connections are for our streetbikes only!!!
