Anyone here a wizz on these machines that can tell me what to do to improve the clutching and jetting? Now that I be owning one and its coming on Tuesday :p I also want all the tips possible on it. :D

Sorry mike, I can't help you but I'm looking for the same info for my 99 ZRT 800 (more so clutching then jetting). This is for a trail application, and is it better to buy a clutch kit or just but the parts yourself?

I had a D & D clutch kit on my 02 T-Cat, then had a custom made on done by a performance shop with a Dyno, they got me ~10 more HP at the track than the D & D had. Seat of the pants driving was night and day, the sledis a rocket now. Part of the increase was an offset timing key as well.

Just picked up the 99 ThunderCat and will be posting pics of it asap. It has a nice sound to it when idoling. I wonder if its worth setting the jetting and clutching by the mountain cat specs at 5000 feet? Anybody try this ?
