headgasket 03-06-2002, 06:06 AM what kind of top end are you guys getting on mxz 800.i ran 111mph in 2000' on GPS.is this fairly reasonable for a stock sled or is there more to be had.I'm 6' 2 and 225lbs and i thought the speed was decent.i had no prep for the run ,it was just a spur of the moment thing. astro 03-06-2002, 06:15 AM stock gearing: 2001 *110mph *2002 115mph that should be the norm. Ski Doo found the RER helix gave quicker backshifting and more top end speed. Enough so that non-RER equipped machines now come with the RER secondary. MX800 03-08-2002, 10:26 PM I had a 01/800 that ran 111mph with 26/44 gearing.With a 160/320 primary,280 ramps on 3, with stock pin weight.
