95xcr440 11-02-2003, 01:51 AM I'm interested in coverting my 1995 XCR 440 SP, to a 600 triple. I've heard that the 95 XCr 600 engine drops right in ? Is this true? What about airbox? and engine mounts? any advice or tips would be appreciated. :rolleyes: XCR583 11-02-2003, 11:54 AM You will need the engine mount from the 600 tripple. You will have to drill new mounting holes for the new plate. You will have to allign it up, making sure the clutches are alligned. You will need the air box from the 600 also. It is a doable project. If you add what you are going to spend for a motor and other related parts, to what you could sell your sled for, you could purchase one already done. Nice XLT's are pretty reasonable. | ||
