what would be a good pipe to put on a mach z? what are the most popular and how much hspr do they add? are pipes very expensive and do you think they are worth it? i would like the most performance for the dollar. all suggestions welcome.

Two pipe options. Crank Shop(my choice),Dyno-port, calimed to work equal to the Crank Shop. Roughly 10hp gain.

I run crankshop pipes on my FIII 800 and I ran them on a FIII 600. I would recommend these pipes. I think crankshop claims 10 horse when using there head. I would run jaws pipes if i had it to do over again. I am not positive, but I think jaws claims 10-18 h.p. depending on the set-up. These pipes range between $800-900 U.S.. I would at at least $250 for the head mods and clutching. By the way, my buddy has a set on Crank shop pipes for sail.

You never just put a set of pipes on and go! But you can get almost all the tunning recommed for the pipes from this site or the manufcture of the pipes. Once you do a few little things you are ready and it will sound much better then that can. And gain hp.

I suggest if you dont have the knowledge to tune carbs and clutching to leave it alone or you "WILL" grenade!
Ask yourself this: do I want to ride the short amout of time winter is or sit in the shop?
