I want to know how the 99-01 MXZ 600 chassis and engines hold up under hard riding and abuse. I dont know much about skidoo sled and have always rode polaris. Im lookin to build a custom and need information about this particular sled.

I have a 99 mxz 600, I have nothin bad to say about it.
Iv got just over 6000 km's on it and the last couple thousand have been really hard. Its a light nimble machine with very good power. Jumping on a polaris after ridding this sled will be a disapointment :p . If your looking to build a custom, this is a great sled to do so with.

I bought my 2000 600 mxz brand new. its tough as nails. i,ve put 4000 hard miles on it and it loved every bit. My buddy has a 2000 xc sp and the ride dosent even compare to the zx chasis in my opinion. :thumbsup:

Out of all of the great MXZ sled's I ended up with a bad one. At 1075 miles my engine blew up. The gear for the oil pump looks like it striped out, I wonder if ski-doo would cover this. It has low miles and has been taken care of, and to me it looks like a defective part. I just found out today. Other than that I love the sled it's light, nimble, and handles great.
