any remedy for this....the pipe doesn't have any holes that i know of......any kind of wrap or something available.....thanx

You could re-pack the cannister if you have the cutting and welding skills. Second option is to replace the can depending on the miles maybe it needs replacing. You can also put automotive header wrap on the pipe which should take some of the ring out of the pipe.
I have put two new cannisters on my 92 Wildcat in 12,000 miles and I still wear earplugs when I ride that one.

depending on how much you are looking to spend, you could go to a Cat dealer and see if they can get their hands on a new stock can for you. If they can't help, I know that D & D sells "quiet cans" for many sleds and they also reduce weight in the process. -Bleedin' :devil:
