i have a 99 zrt 800 with a bad crank, *found a 98 motor, *i was wondering what exactly needed to be switched to use the 98 motor,(ie going fromroundslides to flat slide) *can a person just change carbs,pipes,stator plate,flywheel. or is there more to change? *reeds? * *thanks for the help

The reeds should be the same. *I would want to use the clutch guts, pipes, carbs, and electrical of the new motor. *I know they have changed things on the motor almost every year.
