Ok I have a 99 600 Mxz and right now it's all stock except for SLP pipe and silencer and i have Fly aero taper bars and 4" risers. My question is i was going to see if anybody new of the cheapest way to make power. im gessing its probably gonna be clutching, but what kit?, i was thinking the heelklicker kit for the T.R.A., is this good?, Any other Mods That you people know about would be greatly appreciated i want to make it really rip for this year.
Thank you

i'd go with clutching and weight reduction stuff, possibly new rear suspension and front end widener it will help a great deal in handling

We are doing the exact same thing with the son's 99 MXZ 600.
Pulled the jugs off and went .020 oversized with Wiesco pistons. When we pulled it down we found carbon fibre reeds had been installed, and the sled had performed well.
Met Bill Cudney at the Toronto Snowmobile show and bought a clutch kit off him. Enjoyed the fact that he could explain in terms that made sense. He has a website-www.cudneyracing.com.
How did your sled perform with the SLP pipe? That will be our next investment.
With the 4" riser did you have to buy longer throttle cables?
Thanks

Ya I had to get The Powermadd throttle extension kit and I had to get a brake cable off of an X model there just a little bit longer. The SLP pipe helped out quite a bit i just figured it would be the best pipe i think it makes a 8hp increase. I guess the crank shop and dyno port make a pipe for it too
Fett. Bros. reed stuffers fit nice along with Carbon Tech reeds. Cudney knows good clutching too.
