What do you think the top speed of a 100% stock 95 mach 1 670 with 96 studs on hard pack will be? He claims 125 mph, i say no way. I need as many opinions as possible.Thanks. I need your oppinions to be radar speeds not speedo. :blush:

If memory serves me correct the 95's came with twin pipes on the 670's and the compression was bumped to run 91 octane fuel. They were pretty strong runners but 125 mph is maybe the free fall speed of a 100 foot cliff. No way in real life.

125 mph is not right.

Typically speedos are a little off, so he probably is really doing 145-150 mph. That would seem about right :dazed: :rolleyes: :crazy: :whatever: :lookaround: :dazed:

That makes it faster than a stock Mach Z, T-Cat, SRX or ZR9 (PLEASE NOTE: I said STOCK). WOW, you'd better buy that one before she's gone!

Hey man, tell your friend that he is full a s_ _ _ . I have a 2001 Mach z that will do 120 mph on a 1800 to 2000 ft stretch and a little faster on an icy lake. Another thing, my z is not stock. There is a few sleds like his around here and they barely make 105 mph and this if there are in good condition. Wish I was close to him I would be a pleasure to show him what 125 mph is really.

Defintly there is no way that his sled will be getting 125mph on a radar, it may regerister that on the speedo but there is no way thats the actual speed. If this is true then my 800 should run 140-150mph right? :dazed: :crazy:

OK gotta take the other side. In your friends defense it is quite possible his speedo read to 125 as above 100 speedos can be off rediculously. So yeah at one point he may have looked down and saw the needle around 125 especially if he was on a bumpy ride as this can make the speedo bounce. I was on a buddy's 02 Edge 600, 2 of us on it and it occasionally bounced to 110, btw we both weigh over 200lbs. Of course we are both realistic renough to admit and realize its just the speedo bouncing. But on radar your friends sled has no chance of snapping 110-115. To Hossman why no mention of the RX1 as it will run 120-130 region as well with enough room.

OOPS!! Missed one!! Actually, at 125MPH, I'd have to mention EVERY stock machine ever made. I'm pretty sure there's NEVER been a stock machine that'd hit 125, barring severe tailwind, jumping from an aircraft, or a completely out-of-control downhiller!!

I agree. Almost helps to sooth the pain from loosing the umbrella girls.

Yeah it might go 125,but I bet the traffic cop gives him 2 tickets,1 for the truck and 1 for the trailer he's got the sled on :p

I'm with everyone else, he speedo may have said that once, but no way he was really doing that speed.

GPS/Radar have humbled many a person.

MXZ 670--119hp, mine will do 103mph in 1/4 mile on ice.96 Mach 1--122 hp, heavier and less aerodynamic,and its gonna do 125 mph on hardpack :lol: :lol: Nope don't think so :crazy:
