Anyone know what a mech. reverse kits adds as far as weight on a ZX?

I would think mechanical reverse is about 8-10 lbs. RER weights ounces!!

RER rules!!!. :D

I thought mechanical reverse was about 6lbs. Not enough to worry about, for the convenience of this feature. Starting to think about the weight of all your mods for this season??? This is going to be a very interesting forthcoming season! :D

Yeah was just wondering about taking it off. Its dead weight, plus rotating weight, just wondered if it was worth it.

Oh, sure it's worth it. If you're looking to gain a sore back, or worse. It's a blast dragging a sled around just 'cause there's no reverse. I think if I were YOU, I'd get that blasted 6 pounds off of there ASAP. :slick:

SC

It weighs around 10-12#. Unless your a serious drag racer why would you want to take it off?
I have reverse now for the first time and would never own a sled again without it!!!
My back thanks me every time I back out of the garage, trailer, deadend trail, bar, and so on. :inlove:

I don't care how heavy my sled is. You better take it off and sell it to me !!! :D
