Little question here about the carbs sled heads. On the left carb and on the right carb respectively there are coming out of each one of them on the far side, left and right side, (if that makes sense) copper/steel tubes about 1/4" in diameter bent upwards. These seem to be plugged off somehow, crimped shut. Is this factory or has this machine been modified?

Factory. Doo was getting ready for dpm. Thats what they are for.
I could be wrong though.
