help ! i pulled my clutches to clean them and now there back on the sled but i lost my sheet for the torqeu specs on the bolts ,can anyone help me out here if i remember right it was around 60 lbs for the primary and around 40 for the seconary but i would like to know the right specs hate to see these things come off on the trail at 60mph, ouch it could be painfull ,any info is appereated thanks

I torque the front one to 75 pounds and the secondary is just a 'feel' torque for me.

My manual say's torque the primary to 77ft lbs. Put the sled on a stand, then accelerate and brake hard five times. Back bolt off to 63ft lbs the retighten to 70ft lbs. I don't see the spec for the secondary, but I think it's 38ft lbs.

I tighten mine to 75 also. I was told last year by kid rocker to use the 75 instead of the long drawn out process described.low and behold,after riding the sled, the bolt checked at 70 lbs.

thanks guys i think il do the long version i need to do the hyfax thing yet so the track will have to be readjusted ill dble check it then thanks agian happy trails :lol:

Which ever way makes you the most comfortable is the way you should do it. Good luck!
