has anyone heard of a rumer that arctic cat is comming out in 2005 with a rev style
type of sled, i heard they are re tooling the plant? is there any comfirmation of this??

I did hear something of this but I don't know if there is any truth to it or not. What I was told was to expect a spring only order. No word on engine choices etc.

Nice Buck, rob7374, don't know about the rev style? Just saw his deer.

I imagine everybody is going to have some kind of knock off of the REV sooner or later. Polaris has already kind of done it, it still needs more work.

Changing the seat and graphics does not make a REV :)

In my opinion the 2004 Sno pro looks awful REV like. Don't get me wrong Doo has gotten ideas from other sleds (Polaris suspension). Sooner or later all the race sleds will have to go to a simular chassis to compete or come up with something even more radical.

Why would they want to copy that ugly bugger.

it will depend on how well the new sno pro performce in sno x this year. if the rev is still the sled to beat then i can see it happeneing. but they say the new sno pro is much better than last yrs sno pro. we will soon see.

it is going to be just a little re-drilling of the Firecat series same as what was done to the sno-pro.

Sorry... the 04 Sno Pro is no REV... pure AC! Not comparing apples to apples here. I see the REV as being the sled that changed our sport.
Love AC, but they have there work cut out for them... and of course everyone will say it's a copy of a REV.
But I have heard the nasty rumor there will be a limited released as well.
One guy said for the Xgames... hope he's wrong and it shows sooner!

Remember last year we had pics of the Sabercat... where is all the test pics of this new SnoPro!! lol

No proven facts but chances are Cat will have the rider forward position on their production sleds in the next couple years. If the 04 snopro proves to be a winner then it could be here for 05. It will probably come out the same as the snopro which is just a reworked firecat chasis.

Wonder if we could see Tucker on a new version of the sno pro at xgames????? Never know!?!?!?!?

Isn't this the 04 sno pro. Looks similar to rev in seat only. Otherwise its a cat thru and thru.

What I was alluding to in my earlier post was the placement of the handlebars on this years sno pro and how the placement is similar to the REV. They run over everything for a better stand up riding position. The seat is another good point.

The new 04 SnoPro 440 feels alot like the Rev. When you sit on it and close your eyes, you don't know which one your on. But when you drive it, the cat will blow up and the Doo will keep on truckin'.

FYI: Chapparal had a trailing arm suspension racer in 1972. Polaris didn't invent it.

I ment back suspension....I think thats why polaris has RER (PERC?) now.
