:inlove:

Well at long last I have it. I'm in love. So far everything is great. Upgrades are the yellow ski loops (didn't want to follow the blue ski trend), and the bag on the back. I have my spare belt in there. Fits perfect, without having to contort it and put it somewhere it wasn't meant to be. Other then that, starts first pull, and runs real nice, despite the fact the weather was +13 C and the engine is brand new and running on premixed gas too boot.

Trying to explain your passion for sledding to people in the GTA gets you some strange looks. I bet some people are impressed w/ me if they're stuck behind me in traffic in the middle of July or August :D

You said you didn't want to follow the blue loop trend, so you should have went w/ the blue skis.

If you didn't have the belt in the bag, how much stuff could you pack in it? A couple of days worth of clothes?

Revrnd, the blue ski trend was what I was trying to stear clear of! (excuse the pun), the yellow loops give it a nice touch I think. As far as the bag goes, it's pretty big, How much goes in depends on how much you need to change your clothes! It actually has an additional compartment that you can unzip to expand it. A days worth of clothes and a pair of shoes should be no problem. I got the bag free as part of my deal but would be hard pressed to pay $159 retail for it. It is very well made though. I would think that there are after market ones available, I'm not sure. Another thing I'm really impressed with is the Garmin GPS. What a gadget. This thing is going to be really neat on the trails.

Tiggyboot,

That would have me turning green with envy if I wasn't a true skidoo fan. :D

Super looking sled and trailer. I've never seen a trailer like that. About how much does something like that cost if you don't mind?

The trailer cost me $3000 Canadian, which is about a buck three-ninety eight in American bux. The trailer is made by a company called Tomco. They are located in a small town about an hour from Toronto. Anyway, the trailer is 4 years old now. It's been good so far. It has a little trouble staying tilted but I've worked my way around that. It's a 12' long bed so it fits the longer track Renegade real nice. I keep it stored in my garage so it looks like new. definitely worth the investment. As far as I know, the company sold off their fiberglass mold division and is no longer making sled trailers. There is a new company called Excaliber that is making LDPE trailers. They are located in Brampton, about 10 minutes from where I work. They are real good too because of their light weight. Check the sled mags, they have advertisements in there.

ps, finally got some snow here last night, long range looks promising!

another pic, this is my fav.

I have a Tomco trailer as well. I have the same problem regarding the trailer not staying tilted down, so i figured that i`d replace the front shock. But I just found out that Tomco is not making trailers anymore.

Dan, I'm jealous like hell. Must have been nice to give the new ride a boot around the yard. I think most of us here would empty what's left in our wallets for some of the white stuff!

enjoy your new machine
