Want to add coupling blocks to my 98 zr. *Any information would be appreciated.

ArTeeCat, thinking about the same thing for my '01 ZR800. *The March edition of SnowGoer magazine addresses this in the Diagnosis section. *They reccomend a $129.00 kit from CAT. *They say it is well worth it.

Talked with my dealer today and said also to use the Cat blocks and I guess there is a different rear arm. *Apparently some of the aftermarket companies limit the suspension travel a bit.

I just installed the A.C.T. kit I purchased at Royal Dist. It was easy, ran about $90.00 U.S. It looks to be the same as the A.D.Boivin set-up. If we could get some snow I would let you know how it works. I am not sure what the Cat kit contains, but if you look at the new sleds, they just have a stop block bolted to the rail. It isn't really coupled, it's just a travel limiter. $129.00 seems kind of high for that, don't you think? I rode a 2002 ZL600 SS EFI with the factory "coupler" and it rode extremely smooth, so if I get even half the ride that the new sleds get, I will be happy. Going to Munising this weekend for 7 days-we'll see.

Endur, be sure to let us know how the trails are...will probably go back to Munising one more time if St Germain doesn't get any snow next month.

I added the arctic cat coupler blocks to my 2001 zr800 and what a difference!! It rides so much better in the bumps and it corners alot flatter, they pretty much eliminate ski lift.

Got the cat kit but only fits 99 and on so back to the drawing board. *Hopefully AD Bovin can help me out.

I installed the AD Bovin on to my 01 ZR6. *Made a hugh difference in ride and handling.

Some argue on which is better the AC Kit or the AD Bovin Kit. *Both are good, however I believe that AD Bovin is the better kit. *They come up with the design first, thus preventing AC from replicating it. *The AD Bovin couples the suspension in both directions. *The AC couples it in one direction.

The arctic cat kit should fit the 98, they should be the same suspension.
