So , I got a newer 700 twin, the piston to wall clearance right from the factory is huge, I`m thinking around .012 to .014 if I put in *.010 oversize pistons from say wiesco or oem and in the end wound up with say .003 to .0050 clearence, *is there anything I should know about as far as expansion rates? Was there a idiocinctracy *about the 700 doo twin *motor, *where it somhow needed big clearences?? Pistons can be built to expand differently, is there a manufactuer that adresess *this?

Your best bet would be to follow the manufacturer's specs on stock motors.I personally like them on the high side of the specs.
