Talk about hard to decide. I have spent countless hours on the net and on the phone educating myself on trailers. So far I have found out I am not spending $8500 or more for an all aluminum. Second is that it is hard to find used 4 place enclosed trailers. So here is where I'm at 4 place enclosed with steel frame everything else aluminum all the toys $5500 but it weighs 3800lbs and is 24ft. Any and all suggestions are appreciated if you can come up with something better. Also found one 24ft aluminum with steel frame 3180 lbs for $5900. Decisions !!

Maybe your area is a little higher priced than mine, but I paid $7000 for my all aluminum Renegade four place enclosed. I did the same as you for about a year, priced and compared several models, I did find a all aluminum R & R four place for $5500, but after a little research I found out why they where $1500 less than the one I settled on. Aluminum is the way to go, I would shop a few dealers against each other and see what they can do, good luck

Check South Bend, IN. That's where Renegade's are made. You can't buy direct, but dealers in that area are very close on price.

My friend Ryan Cantrell is a Triton and rengade dealer. he'll sell you at cost. Call him for price quotes and questions. He'll steer you right. He told beerman on here to buy a used one instead of new do to the low sale price compared to new. It's not about the deal as he sells at cost. It's a hobby of his. tell him Caleb sent you.

If you have no luck with him email me and I
'll set you up with a few other dealers of different trailers. Plan on 4500-6500 for a High quality trailer. Keep in mind that trailers hold there value very well especially the high quaility ones.

Don't buy the steel! you'll just trade-in next year for the one you really want. ALL Aluminum, only way to go! will outlast a steel and you get what you pay for! Steel looks like crap in two years! And thats from NEW. Want to pull 15 to 20 grand off a rotting trailer?Everybody standing around unloading and you pull in. The talk would be nice sleds but man he shouldda bought a real trailor. Buy Aluminum!!! my 2 cents

1-800-say-boat ask for Dan, Becks propane and marine.great deals located in st. johns mich. I bought my haulmark from them for 3,300 back in feb of 01. I agree with the steel looking bad, but it is after 1 year.I would strongly suggest if you do buy it to have it rhino lined or similar to the under side and frame to prevent the bad look.I am one of those guys that has the bad looking trailer,as for you making fun of it ,thats ok with me .I will probably be making fun of you when I smoke you on the snow :p .I drove 4 hrs to buy from them as they were much cheaper than anyone I called.I have the flat front doors and love the way it pulls over the v-nose but unloading is nicer with the v-nose.I have a ramp also, ramp doors are very nice.I am sure becks priced the 24 all allum. to me for 5800 then.but for less than 500 bucks I can have mine sprayed with that liner and it will look great and prevent rust.as far as life I have seen some pretty old steel trailers out there, and if maintained they look pretty good.what it came down to for me is I have the truck to pull anything I want to,so the savings were nice.
