I have a 97 t-cat and it stated to act up last weekend so I pluged the throttle saftey switch bypass and it ran fine. So I came home and messed with the adjustment to get it to work now it wont shut off at all even with the key. What did I do wrong or has anyone else had this problem
Thanks
Duane

duane, check all your ground wires and make sure they are tight. Kevin

Well, I think that the 97 sleds still had an open ign. system. So I would start by disconnecting the four wire connector that comes from the eng. This conn. contains two yellow, one blk and one brown wire. With this conn. unpluged the eng. should not start or have any spark. If the eng. runs or has spark you have corrosion or a short between the brown and blk wires. If the eng. has no spark install a jumper wire between the brown and blk wires and you should have spark.

Its fixed. Replaced the whole assembley on the handle bars that has the saftey switch and kill switch in it and solved the problem.
Thanks for your sugestions
