My brother's company just bought a 2004 scandik 550 for work, and where he uses it it's -50 celcius in winter time (january-march). the sled comes with a choke only and as you probably know a choke is not vary usefull at -50. My question is can he put a primer system on the sled and what parts would he need to adapt the primer system the the carburators. The carburators are round slides. My brother thinks that the primer hose fittings are allredy built in the carburators. Can he just put the primer and connect the hose in the carbs?

A friend has a 98 Skandik and he put a primer on it, with no problem. I'm sure the newer sled has the fittngs on the carbs as well.

Yes you could put a primer on it, I have done a few myself for our customers as we are in the COLD ARCTIC also
