Okay Mighty!
As I posted last spring, they are here, and primed and ready for the snow piles of the Upper Pen. I will post here from time to time to see how they do in the deeper stuff. Can hardly wait, but I have to tell you when I sneak a peek at those two bruts sitting on the trailer, they look amazingly nice. Starting them up gets even my 55 year old blood to pulsing and it hasn't gotten the first mile on them yet.
Stay tuned for a full report. And who knows if I like them enough, I might even take a long drive to bigger hill country out west.
For now, I just look at them when I come home from work, and start them up to idle for a few and imagine the pulls up the steep stuff, and over the hills.
No smoke, and no smells aside from the early new stuff that always needs to get burned off.
I like the no stink issue and straight gas going into the tank. I will give you an honest line on how these compare. Remember I own two articat 4 strokers also and I will be using them along side, as well as my big red vmax.
Rules dictate the vmax must stay behind....can't stand the smoke, if she breaks trail.
Stay tuned.
