I keep hearing that the 01 mxz800's are gas gusslers, how true is this and how many miles should i exspect to get on a tank of gas? :crazy:

I ran a 01 800 last year, and when running on smooth flat trails at 60+mph I got 13+ mpg.
never got anything less then 11mpg.

most i've ever got was 120 miles on a tankful.and that was riding real easy.most of the time it's more like 10 mpg

I would also get 10 MPG with a stock sled.

Roughly 11 with RK Tek head and jetted with 410's.

Now I get 8.5 with other mods, but I'm way rich.

Also average about 10 MPG. But, after about 80 miles...I'M LOOKIN' FOR GAS w00t . I've never had to walk, and I don't want to start now. :D
