That's a good idea! Too bad the damn thing will still read empty when you have 1/2 a tank. At least mine does.

I was thinking of adding one to the firecat,,,,is it pretty easy???

Good idea, though they should come with some sort of back lighting from the factory in my opinion.

bought the LED light at Super Target...2/pkg for $10.
drilled a hole
soldered a 2-prong plug to LED wires
pluged into ac outlet by servo

Great idea. Got anything for the old fuel gauges still in the fuel cap? Its a bad feeling when your riding through the middle of the woods at night and no gas station for miles and not knowing how much gas you have.

ok,,,,Meijer, here I come,,,,you have me convinced,,,,it isnt that hard to knock out,,,,and phat is right,,,,its a pain riding at dark not knowing exactly what you have,,,,,
