I wanted to check the carbs on my new (to me) sled, '02 renegade 700, to see if there was any green stuff growing in there. then i found out flatslide carbs are quite a bit different from my old roundslides. Is it ok to just remove the drain plug in the bottom of the bowl and look inside. it looked real clean but is that good enough? i'd rather not burn it down but it's rather expensive to have the dealer do a pre-season prep. Ya, i know, it's cheaper then rebuilding one but ...

cant hurt, just be careful if u do rip them apart

it's not that complicated. dont get scared to take it apart, just make sure u remember how everything goes back together. good luck!! :hallo1:
