Yesterday i was looking at my sled and was getting pissed off at how low it sat in the front end. So, this morning i was up bright and early and pulled it into the big shop to make a lift kit. Sad to say though, after 4 hours of careful touch and go design, and hard work with welders, band saws, grinders, etc, it didn't work. The dang thing mad a very weird shock angle and stuff :cussing: . O well, at least i tried and know it won't work now. :hallo1: SWRules

Sounds like you may have a future in snowmobile engineering!

Hey Bauer,
Don't be down because "Lower is better"

Zog, that would be a pretty interesting life. One of these days i am going to go in and change my design a lil bit, and maybe make one that works. But i am working pretty much full time at the local ski hill the next couple of weeks!

Never thought about adding a lift kit to a sled before. If you could design it so that it wouldn't make the sled feel more tippy due to high center of gravity then you could easily be onto something.
