Has anybody ridden the new firecat EXT's? What are they like? How do they compare to the regular firecat's?

Never ridden a short track F7, but compared to my 01 Zr 600 it feels like i'm drivin a limo. Not nearly as rough and no problems hooking up. Went to the mountains over christmas and they had just gotten like 4 ft of powder so wish I woulda put on a 2" paddle instead of my 1.25".

Pray for snow in southeastern nd!

We road with a F7ext on our trip in the black hills. It seemed a lil smoother in some ways across rough trails but the suspension didn't handle it quite as well as our 03 SnoPro editions because of the springs and shocks on the snopro. He seemed to corner the same on the trials no differnce there at least not enough to worry about. In the deeper snow he could pull away from us no problem but we could go almost anywere he could but if you get into deeper snow yet I think it would start to shine. The other thing is it does need a deeper lug track maybe 1.5 with a 2inch option and also maybe a suspension package option with the same as whats on the snopro. So were in ND are you from I'm from south of Jamestown.

I'm barely 25 miles from I live in Marion and work in both Lamoure and Valley City. Nice to meet someone so close on here. How was cooke city. My brother was out there about 4 weeks ago or maybe a lil more. The only riding i've gotten in is around fargo and made a trip to the black hills. I think we will probably go up to Bottineau next weekend though. Yep keeping my fingers crossed for snow around here. Well if you ever see a 03 red F7 snopro with snowmobileworld stickers on the hood its me.

Cooke was awsome. I know some guys from LaMoure who went up to Bottineau couple weeks ago and they had an awesome time. They ended up gettin on an open spring/lake that was covered with powdered snow and had to clean out their shorts but after that they had an awesome time. Last report i heard from up there was that after it go warm up there bout a week ago snow was rock hard cause of the now cold temps. So if they got some new snow they prob got a good base. Holla back at me and lemme now how the snow was if u do go. Lookin to do some sleddin soon cause the sled don't like sittin in the shop just itchin to go.
