Speedo Grease Zerk

Hey all, I was greasing the skid yesterday and when it came to greasing the zerk for the drive shaft, near the speedo housing, I couldn't get any grease to come out on the driveshaft side of the frame, instead it started to come out the speedo side through the plastic cover plate. Is this normal or should I pump in a few more shots to see if it will come out the driveshaft side. Thanks a mill. :christmas:

If you get grease out the driveshaft side, you will have succeeded in blowing the seal. Not something to look forward to replacing. Easy does it on this one. One or two squirts is all you need...

I'm glad I stopped when I did then because there isn't any grease on the inside.This seal you mentioned must be in the bearing right? Also I've heard of a vent on the black plastic plate. I don't see one. Thanks. :dazed:
