My buddies Power extreme does not sit level. The left side is slightly lower than the right. I have examined all the "a" arm stuff, rear suspension, etc, and can't find anything bent Almost seems like the chassis itself must have a little twist to it. This sled has about 3500 miles on it. It has Ryde FX shocks. Are these rebuildable type shocks? I'm thinking it could be a weak spring or shock. Any suggestions?

I have never driven a powder extreme or had one... as far as those RideFx shocks.. No, they are NOT rebuildable :slick: Did you do any chassis measurements? like bumper to floor? etc.. has the sled been rolled or jumped a nd landed wrong? Those sleds also had bumpers that wrapped around the sled and they can be PULLED out of the belly pan if you really yank on them, ( It happend to me on a 97 EXT600) and the sled didn't look right even after i fixed it.... :confused:

When you lay a level across the luggage rack and on the front bumper, you can see that it's a bubble off, not unlike my friend. Visually, it's tough to tell, but knowing the shocks are not rebuildable is a start. Thanks.

dont go by the bumper in front set a small level on the top of the motor.there is very little support for the front bumper but the motor is mounted right to the front subframe. still out ? check the frame right where the tunnel and subframe/bulkhead come together for cracks ? look ok ? suspension somewhere .imho Mark

is there any chance that one spring is set a lot looser than the other,,,,, letting that side sag some??? a cheap thought that you could take a look at

Does that sled use a sway bar?
If it is not terribly crooked you can use the sway bar links to adjust out any lean.
What puree said can also cause a lean - make sure the shock springs are adjusted evenly and that no coils are broken.
