To you RX Warrior owners, has any one studded there track, My dealer says, Yamaha says don't. There has been cases of them cutting into the exaust. Does anyone know if there has been a solution for this?. Is this just a bunch of who ha?, that its only under extreme conditions that this happens?.
Please if anyone know anything about this, please fill me in. Way to much ice here in New England to be messing around without studs. SWRules

1.325" and you will be fine, just in the center, IMO. Total count should be (162), that's with (3) per row. I'll post a pic if you want. I have (300) miles on mine so far and not one scratch in the tunnel anywhere. :)

Thanks Vet, I had aready bought the studs and backers, 162-1.325 woody's mega bites. Then my sales guy told me what Yamaha was saying, so I held off installing them.
I'm going to take my chances, because the trails here in northern New England warrant studded tracks, and after my first ride this year it only proves that fact.
Thanks again, and yes if you have some pictures, please post them. SWRules

I too have 1.325 mega bites with no clearance problems at all. Just keep the track adjusted to specs. The first 300 or so miles are the most critacle with track stretching. A buddy has over 1,700 miles on his studded warrior now with no issues either.

I am with you folks. I didn't buy a monster to sit and spin. But I was resently at a sled show and purchased studs from Stud Boy they recommended a long stud like 1.355 and against the lug it just looked to long. I returned them for Woody's 1.325 and they are just right.
Thanks for the heads up on the possible exhaust issue.
