deep-lugs 12-22-2003, 10:27 AM Well i installed the reeds in my machine,i also have a d&d clutch kit,and geared up 1 tooth.The reeds seem to take the throttle hesitation out,and i noticed better fuel economy.The machine is a little harder to start 4 pulls instead of 2,was all this worth :christmas: $200 i'm still not sure,if any thing like i said fuel economy was greatly noticed,i will post another about these reeds at end of season.... jimme 12-22-2003, 02:14 PM what gears do you have in it now? BLEEDIN GREEN 12-22-2003, 04:52 PM I don't know why it should take more pulls to start your sled--I put them into my 600 EFI and nothing changed as far as that goes. I'd maybe look into your installation and make sure you aren't sucking air around any of the mating surfaces between the throttle bodies/reeds/block. Did anything change as far as your idle speed or anything? As far as I know, pulling more times to get it to start shouldn't happen.--Bleedin' :devil: | ||
